dining at the white lion hotel is an informal affair. we want you to relax, enjoy yourselves, and spend a little time to unwind in the surroundings. and at the essence of all this will hopefully be our glorious food...
we pride ourselves on the quality and freshness of our produce and also of our associations with our local suppliers. all produce is sourced locally whenever feasible, and in accordance to seasonal variations. there is always an extensive menu available throughout the building, which is complimented by frequently changing seasonal specials to be chosen from the boards. our michelin experienced head chef and his team utilise fine produce predominantly from lancashire and yorkshire to create real pub classics with a slight modern twist. we aim to never be pretentious, but always home-made, cooked perfectly, and of sufficient quantity to satisfy even the most hungry yorkshire farmer!
so please just choose a table, get comfortable, and then allow us to take care of the rest.
