VIRTUAL CANAL TRIP
You can sit back and enjoy this virtual cruise along the Rochdale Canal, from Hebden Bridge to Todmorden. It will give you a flavour of the scenery and the canal architecture the canal offers.
The Rochdale Canal runs for 33 miles between Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, and Manchester, England. It is open now for navigation along the whole of the route since the re-opening of the Littleborough to Manchester section in 2002.

The Hebden Bridge Local History Group was formed in 1949 and is a section of the Hebden Bridge Literary and Scientific Society. They organise a winter programme from September to March on the second and fourth Thursday of the month usually at the Tourist Information Centre at 7:30 pm. Summer walks and other activities are arranged for the rest of the year.
